About Finca La Concepción
Operated by Manuel Pereira Melgar and his wife, Linda, this family-owned finca's dedication to high quality organic coffee does not forgo an innovative commitment and approach to environmental preservation in its practices. In 2015, after experimenting with various processes, Manuel decided upon the honey process for his coffee. The honey process not only brings out the richest flavors in his coffee, but it preserves the most water. Additionally, the farm boasts thriving bee hives, vegetable gardens, and in-house composting operations that further solidify Manuel's dedication to a self-sufficient and eco-conscious farm that does not scrimp on flavor.
